A. Backpackers Paradise is located on the main road to the world famous Cango Caves, on the corner of Victoria and Baron van Reede streets.

Q. Are there parking facilities available?

A. There is lots of safe off road parking available on the property.

Q. Is there a curfew?
|
|
A. No, there is no curfew in Paradise - guests are provided with their own room keys and main entrance gate code once they have checked in.

Q. What methods of payment are accepted?

A. We accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards. We also accept Rand travellers cheques which we can cash for you. Of course we also accept good old hard cash!!

Q. What is included in the price for a night?
|
|
A. The nightly price includes accommodation, hot showers, all bedlinen and duvets, free coffee and tea, and during the ostrich breeding season we offer free ostrich egg for breakfast!

Q. Is there a lock-out?
|
|
A. No, the premises are protected and safe, when you arrive - you will be given a code for the main gate. You are free to come and go as you please!

Q. What are check-in and checkout times?

A. Office hours are from 07H30 - 22H00 daily. NO EXCEPTIONS. Check out time is 11H00. Check in time is from 07H30.

Q. Does the hostel offer meals?
|

A. Yes, we offer daily dinner and breakfast. Our Ostrich BBQ is very popular with an Ostrich steak done South African Style on the fire, with ostrich sausage, jacket potatoes, crispy green salad and fresh bread rolls.! Vegetarians meals also available. Our full breakfast consists of homemade crunchy Muesli, yoghurt and orange juice to start, then await your warm plate with bacon, scrambled ostrich egg, fried tomato and toast, served with jam. The vegetarians replace the bacon with cheese!

Q. Is there a bar?

A. Yes, the hostel has a fully licensed pub that is situated away from the rooms so that the party animals can party on without disturbing the early to bed travellers. It has a pool table and a shooter list of note!
